Students, who belong to the minority communities and pursuing post-graduation or degree level or any kind of technical courses from either a government or a recognized private educational institution, are invited to apply for the ‘Department of Minorities Welfare & Tamil Nadu Minorities Economic Development Scholarship 2008’. It is a project introduced by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The total numbers of scholarship allotted in the entire Tamil Nadu are seven hundred and sixty seven. Further, the students who have already received this scholarship for the year 2007-08 and continuing their studies in the year 2008-09, are also eligible to avail this scholarship scheme.
